Customers are expected to read all information here and presented in emails ahead of time. Failure to do so many result in negative experiences. Please follow our advice and be thorough, look at the map, and watch some educational videos before your visit. A little preparation goes a long way and assuming things leads to problems down the line. Glassmaking is extremely challenging, difficult and often the process is fairly intimidating and overwhelming to the noob. Don’t underestimate that. We work with molten glass and 2300° equipment, it’s hot, heavy, fast and requires a fluidity and coordination that takes repetition and practice time to learn and develop.
You should arrive a little before your start time and have proper attire on and be ready to listen and learn. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated, we reserve the right to stop any activity at any time for any reason we see fit, admission is revokable and non refundable. Unruly, rude people will be dealt with accordingly.
We welcome participant of all abilities and ages 8 to 80, with some common sense and responsible judgement involving physical abilities, demeanor and mental state. Glass making normally requires coordinated use of both hands and both feet and is assisted by staff. Additionally, a glass studio is not a place to bring a newborn infant or toddler. For safety reasons we do not allow it. Only ticket holding, of age participants. No walk in availability for all classes nor do we offer on site scheduling at this time.
Participants with physical handicaps ♿ must alert us in advance so we can best accomodate and adjust to their individual needs. We are working with the building diligently to improve ADA access, because of the age and industrial nature of the building it is something they are aware of and working on independent of my involvement .
**Please be careful and thorough when making your reservation. We do not have staff on standby 24/7 to correct your mistakes on demand. Take your time and be careful, follow directions. If you are using a GROUPON or LIVING SOCIAL voucher YOU MUST ADJUST the size of the reservation to match your voucher and do NOT enter any payment information. Entering your redemption code as a promo code zeroes the balance due when done correctly for the proper activity. Incorrectly made reservations are not guaranteed to be accomodated on arrival. NOTE: Glassmaking is vastly more difficult and complicated than our scheduling system. This is your first test on paying attention and following direction.**
